Community Invited to Oakham Medical Practice PPG Open Meeting

Community Invited to Oakham Medical Practice PPG Open Meeting

Oakham CE School

The Oakham Medical Practice Patient Participation Group (OMP PPG) is holding an Open Meeting to inform the community about the range of parallel health services and social prescribing opportunities available to support health and well-being in Oakham. The event, in collaboration with Rutland Health Networks, is scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 6 pm.

The meeting aims to shed light on services designed to complement traditional medical care, helping residents navigate the health landscape and find support outside of the usual doctor's appointment.

A number of key speakers are confirmed to discuss their respective services, including:

RISE

Joy app

Pharmacy First

Enhanced Access

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn directly from these representatives about how they can access and benefit from these parallel services and social prescribing initiatives.

The open meeting is free to attend and will take place at the Oakham CE School Hall on Burley Road, Oakham.

This is an excellent opportunity for local residents to engage with the OMP PPG and Rutland Health Networks, gain a better understanding of local health provision, and ask questions directly to the speakers.

If you have specific questions you would like addressed at the meeting, please send them in advance to ppgoakham@gmail.com.

Join the OMP PPG and Rutland Health Networks to learn how to better support your health and well-being in Oakham
