Oakham Town Council Hiring for Part-Time Administration Roles
Oakham Town Council is currently seeking two motivated individuals to join their team as Part-Time Administration Assistants. These are temporary, onsite positions based in Oakham, with an initial contract duration of two months and the possibility of an extension depending on the Council's requirements. An immediate start is required for the successful candidates.
Role Overview
The Administration Assistants will be responsible for providing general administrative support to the Council. Key duties include:
General office and administrative tasks.
Minute taking.
Website administration.
Handling telephone and email enquiries.
Obtaining quotes from suppliers.
Requirements
The Council is looking for organised, reliable, and confident candidates who possess strong communication and administrative skills. Additionally, knowledge and experience using Microsoft 365 is essential for the role.
Hours and Compensation
Hours: 12.5 hours per week. Please note that the role requires some evening attendance at Council meetings.
Pay: £13.69 per hour.
