Council Clears Fire-Damaged Bush on Long Row Following Emergency Call
Rutland County Council has swiftly removed a large, overgrown bush on Long Row following an emergency incident earlier this week.
Crews from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene on Monday after the substantial vegetation caught fire. Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the flames and secure the area, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby properties or infrastructure.
Following the incident, local authorities stepped in to address the safety hazard posed by the remaining charred and overgrown foliage. Council maintenance teams yesterday after to completely clear away the remnants of the bush, restoring the street scene and removing any ongoing fire risks.
