Rutland County Council Honors Armed Forces with Flag Raising Ceremony at Oakham Castle

Rutland County Council proudly hosted a poignant Armed Forces Flag Raising ceremony this morning at the historic Oakham Castle, reaffirming the county's unwavering support for the brave men and women who serve and have served in the British Armed Forces.

The ceremony, a deeply respected annual tradition, brought together local dignitaries, veterans, serving personnel, and members of the community to pay tribute to the dedication, sacrifice, and courage of the armed forces.
