Oakham Town Council to Address Key Community Issues at Upcoming Meeting
The Oakham Town Council is set to convene for a full council meeting on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 6:30 PM. The meeting, which is open to the public and press, will take place at the Town Council Offices, Rol House, and promises to cover a range of topics critical to the local community.
A key item on the agenda is the ongoing discussion surrounding the Victoria Hall. Councillors will be reviewing the previous decision to move to the Victoria Hall, a topic of significant interest to local residents. The outcome of this review could have a notable impact on the future use and management of the hall.
Another point of discussion is a request for picnic benches for the Centenary Field. This proposal, if approved, would provide new amenities for a popular public space and enhance its appeal for families and visitors.
