Calling All Furry (and Not-So-Furry) Friends! The Rutland Pet Festival is Here!
Join Carolyn Acton Events for the Rutland Pet Festival, a fun-filled day for the whole family 
(and your furry companions) at Oakham Castle!


Sunday 6th October 2024 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Free Entry: That's right, entry to the festival is completely free!

Browse a variety of food, drink, craft, and gift stalls to treat yourselves and your four-legged friends.

Pet Competitions: Show off your furry friend's best side in these fun categories:

Prettiest Female (any pet) - 11.30am

Most Handsome Male (any pet) - 12.15pm

Best Rescue (any pet) - 1.00pm

Cutest Pet (no dogs allowed) - 1.30pm

Fancy Dress (any pet) - 2.15pm

Agility Course (dogs only) - 3.00pm

Competition Entry: Each competition entry costs £2.50 and can be pre-booked online here:

Winners will receive rosettes and prizes!


Rutland & Stamford Sound will be compering the event, adding to the fun atmosphere.

Looking for a fun day out with your pet? This is the perfect event! It's a great opportunity to spend quality time with your furry friend, browse some amazing stalls, and even enter them into some light-hearted competitions.

Don't forget: Parking is free on Sundays in all council car parks.
