The Rutland Hub Grand Opening
The Rutland Hub is hosting its Grand Opening on Saturday, September 12th at Cornerstone House on Melton Road, Oakham. To celebrate the launch, visitors can enjoy a special 20% off all food and drink throughout the day.
Opening Day Schedule of Events
08:30 – 10:00: Prayer breakfast featuring a free breakfast and a welcoming environment for everyone.
10:00 – 12:00: Cake competition, offering a Hub Hamper as the grand 1st prize.
12:00 – 13:00: Official ribbon cutting ceremony performed by Alicia Kearns MP.
13:00 – 15:00: Complimentary treat hour, providing a free slice of cake with every drink purchase.
15:00 – 16:30: Coffee tasting competition to test your palate.
Beyond the scheduled competitions and ceremonies, guests are invited to explore available rental spaces, play arcade games in the Charis Space, and try a variety of teas and coffees.

Also on Saturday (12th September) Oakham Baptist Church are screening SISTER ACT 2: Back in the Habit.
7pm - 9pm (doors open at 6:30pm)
Cold drinks, popcorn and ice cream factory available.
Oakham Town Council was awarded a small community grant last week to assist with the purchase of equipment for the new youth space at Oakham Baptist Church.
