Used by both the prestigious Uppingham School and the local community, the Sports Centre is a bustling hub of activity. This role offers a unique chance to work at the heart of a high-quality leisure facility while supporting a diverse range of visitors.
A Dynamic Front-of-House Role
As the first point of contact for pupils, staff, and members of the public, the Receptionist plays a vital role in the daily success of the Centre. This isn't just about answering phones; it’s a varied position that keeps you engaged throughout your shift.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Customer Service: Providing a warm, professional welcome and ensuring every visitor has a positive experience.
Administration: Managing enquiries, handling bookings, and processing payments.
Operational Support: Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the front-of-house environment.
Hours, Salary, and "Active" Benefits
This part-time position is designed with a consistent 2-week rota, making it an excellent fit for those who enjoy having a clear schedule.
Contract: 21–24 hours per week (mornings and alternate weekends).
Salary: £13,333.32 – £15,238.08 per annum.
