Local Police to Host Community Meeting in Uppingham

Local Police to Host Community Meeting in Uppingham

A local police community support officer (PCSO) will be available for a community drop-in session at Uppingham Library on Friday, August 9.

PCSO Andy Wylie, Uppingham's dedicated Safer Streets officer, will be on hand from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is an opportunity for residents to meet with the officer, discuss any concerns they may have, and learn more about the ongoing Safer Streets Summer Campaign.

The meeting is an informal way to raise issues related to anti-social behavior, crime prevention, or other local safety concerns. Inspector Darren Richardson encourages residents to attend, stating, "Your voice matters! Let’s work together to keep Uppingham safe and vibrant."

This initiative is part of an ongoing effort by the Rutland Leicestershire Police to engage directly with the community and address local issues collaboratively.
