Braving the Storm for Festive Finds: Oakham's Christmas Craft Fair
Despite the blustery conditions brought by Storm Bert, many determined shoppers ventured out today to attend Oakham's Christmas Craft and Gift Fair, held at the charming Wisteria Hotel. This festive event showcased a delightful array of handcrafted treasures, perfect for unique Christmas gifts.
If you missed today's festivities, fear not! The fair continues tomorrow, Sunday, November 24th, from 11am to 3pm. With even more vendors and products on offer, it's the ideal opportunity to discover one-of-a-kind gifts for your loved ones.
While browsing the stalls, visitors can also indulge in a warm drink and a delicious mince pie from the hotel's Hunters Bar.
Event organiser, Carolyn Acton, expressed her gratitude to everyone who came out despite the inclement weather: "Thank you to everyone who braved the horrid weather and came to our 2 craft fairs today at The Wisteria Hotel & Victoria Hall, Oakham, Rutland."
So, if you're looking for a truly special Christmas shopping experience, head to the Wisteria Hotel tomorrow and support local artisans while treating yourself to some festive cheer.
