Wing WI Marks Century Milestone with Special Celebration Fair
Wing Women's Institute is preparing for a major community milestone as it celebrates its 100th year with a special celebration fair
The event will take place this coming Saturday, 26th September, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Wing Village Hall
Delicious homemade cakes, savories, pastries, and preserves, alongside general refreshments
. Handcrafted items for sale and local historical archives
. Special displays showcasing the history of Wing WI, previous speakers, and artwork created by WI members
. A gardening stall featuring plants and bulbs for sale, a tombola, a raffle, and much more
.
All proceeds raised during the 100th-anniversary celebration will go toward replacing the local WI bench
