Rutland Car Treasure Hunt with Free Prizes and Escape Room Giveaway
A brand new, completely free car treasure hunt has officially launched across the country lanes of Rutland, running until Sunday, 1 November 2026.
Open daily between 09:00 and 17:00, the family-friendly event allows participants to download and complete the course at any time that suits them.
How It Works
The Route: Participants must plan their route in advance and travel to ten specific What3Words locations scattered across the local lanes.
Gathering Clues: By visiting these checkpoints, teams will gather letters that ultimately spell out a secret codeword.
Claiming a Prize: Once the codeword is uncovered, participants head to a finishing cafe, give the staff the correct word, and collect a prize.
Bonus Prize Draw
Teams who take a photograph of themselves with their prize qualify to enter an exclusive draw to win a free game at One Way Out Escape Rooms in Oakham.
