New Schedule Announced for Ketton Parish Council Office

New Schedule Announced for Ketton Parish Council Office
By Our Local Correspondent

Residents of Ketton are being advised to update their records as Ketton Parish Council announces a comprehensive change to its office operating hours, set to take effect from Wednesday, 1st April 2026.

The shift in schedule is designed to streamline council operations while maintaining accessibility for the local community. The new timetable introduces specific windows for face-to-face inquiries, remote working days, and late-evening sessions to coincide with monthly meetings.

Starting in April, the Parish Office, located at 2a Stocks Hill Lane, will operate under the following schedule:

Monday: 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Tuesday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm (Note: The Clerk will be working from home. Calls will be diverted to a mobile phone.)

Wednesday (1st, 2nd, and 4th of the month): 9:30 am – 2:30 pm

Wednesday (3rd of the month): 4:30 pm – 9:30 pm (Includes the Full Parish Council Meeting at 7:30 pm.)

Thursday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Friday:Office Closed

A notable feature of the new schedule is the third Wednesday of every month, which sees the office remain open into the evening. This shift supports the Full Parish Council Meeting, which begins at 7:30 pm. Members of the public are actively encouraged to attend these meetings to stay informed about village developments and voice their opinions.

While physical office hours are shifting, the Council remains accessible via phone and digital channels. On Tuesdays, when the Clerk is working remotely, the main office line (01780 722451) will be diverted to ensure no calls are missed.

For further information or to submit inquiries, residents can visit the official website at www.ketton-pc.gov.uk or email the Clerk at clerk@ketton-pc.gov.uk.
