Local Against The Cottesmore Hunt say: If you wish to join the peaceful demonstration, please be aware that it will take place between 10:15 AM and 10:30 AM.

The Cottesmore Hunt have announced their traditional Boxing Day Meet this year will be held outside Rutland at Stapleford LE14 2EF at 11am, followed by hound exercise.

Everyone is welcome to attend, mounted or on foot. 

There will also be a collection for the charity ‘For Rutland’.

    This past year has seen a increased level of violence at meets. 

    A former Cottesmore Hunt Steward is currently wanted by police for failing to turn up at Leicestershire Magistrates Court for sentencing, he should not be approached by the public. A warrant has been issued for his arrest the offender is known for his violent manner, he has previously been sentenced for firearms offences after a argument with a friend.
