All Saints Church Oakham Autumn Fayre a Resounding Success

All Saints Church Oakham Autumn Fayre a Resounding Success

The All Saints Church Oakham Autumn Fayre 2024 proved to be a resounding success, drawing in a large crowd and raising much-needed funds for the historic church.

Patsy, who ran the tombola and raffle alongside Sue, expressed her delight at the turnout. "It was much busier than we anticipated," she said. "It was wonderful to meet so many people from the wider community and to feel their support for the church."

The funds raised from the Fayre will be allocated towards crucial heating maintenance and electrical works. These essential projects are necessary to ensure the safety and preservation of the church building. To facilitate these works, the church will be temporarily closed to the public shortly after Christmas.

The successful Autumn Fayre is a testament to the strong community spirit surrounding All Saints Church Oakham. The event not only brought people together but also provided vital financial support for the church's ongoing maintenance and upkeep.

Visitors also enjoyed viewing the Christmas Railway and The Lego Christmas Village.
