The Rutland Flower Show 2025: A Celebration of Horticulture and Family Fun
Get ready for a spectacular new event as the Rutland Flower Show 2025 brings a vibrant three-day Flower and Garden Show to the Rutland Showground this August 15-17. This event marks the first time in years that all of the surrounding Flower and Garden clubs, organizations, and public will come together to celebrate Rutland and the surrounding area's rich horticultural scene.
The show promises something for everyone, making it a perfect weekend outing for the whole family. Beyond the stunning floral and produce competitions, attendees can enjoy garden and plant shopping, live music, and a fine food market. The younger crowd will be delighted by the Storm in a Teacup Circus, which will offer twice-daily shows, walkabout acts, and circus skills workshops, as well as a charming vintage fairground and a dedicated children's play area.
A star-studded lineup of gardening experts will be in attendance, including celebrity gardeners Adam Frost and Nick Hamilton. Additionally, the show will feature a rostrum of speakers, including Ben Cross, an award-winning fourth-generation grower from Crosslands Flower Nursery. Ben, a passionate campaigner for British flowers, will be sharing his "British Flowers Rock" talks. His nursery, established in 1936, is one of the last in the UK to produce cut flowers year-round, and his sustainable practices have earned him multiple awards, including a RHS Chelsea Gold Medal in 2024.
Shosha Koi, a local Rutland-based company, is sponsoring the show and will be showcasing some of their beautiful Koi fish.
The event is made possible by the generous support of several key sponsors, including:
