Race for Vista: Challenge Yourself in the Heart of Rutland
Vista, an organization dedicated to supporting over 8,000 individuals with sight loss across Leicestershire and Rutland, invites all Rutland residents to participate in the Race for Vista. This event offers a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself while contributing to Vista's vital services.
The Rutland 10km 2025 will take place on Saturday, June 21st, 2025. The race features a beautiful running course that winds along the shoreline of Rutland Water, providing panoramic views of the stunning county. Runners will set off from 9:00 am.
Leading up to race day, participants will receive support for their running journey and a comprehensive race guide via email two weeks prior to the event. Each runner will also receive a personalised race pack, including their race number and timing chip, sent by post. Late entries will need to collect their race numbers at the start line. Participants can also look forward to exclusive offers and competitions from event partners. Additionally, a free runner-to-runner transfer option is available under specific terms and conditions.
On the day of the race, participants can expect full event support from arrival to departure. All finishers will be awarded a bespoke event medal. Free parking will be available at the event site, and a fantastic atmosphere with community support along the course is guaranteed. Prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women. A dedicated runners' help desk will be available for any last-minute queries. The event ensures a safe running environment, managed by an experienced professional team, with traffic-free running and on-course hydration. Comprehensive medical support will be available throughout the course if needed. Participants can access comprehensive results tables as they finish, and free event photos will be available for download afterward.
