Christmas Dinner for All: Oakham Baptist Church Opens Doors This Christmas
For those facing Christmas alone or struggling to afford a festive meal, Oakham Baptist Church is offering a warm and welcoming solution. This December 25th, the church will host a special Community Christmas Lunch, ensuring no one in the community goes hungry on Christmas Day.
The invitation extends to anyone who might be spending Christmas without loved ones, or for those who are unable to prepare a traditional Christmas dinner themselves. This is a chance to connect with others, share a delicious meal, and experience the spirit of Christmas in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
The day's festivities begin with a church service at 11 am, followed by the Community Christmas Lunch served at midday. Attendees are welcome to participate in either or both events.
Booking is essential to ensure there's enough food for everyone. Those interested in attending can reserve their spot by emailing admin@oakhambaptist.org.uk or calling the church directly on 01572724990.
With this generous offer, Oakham Baptist Church is embodying the true spirit of Christmas: a time for giving, sharing, and ensuring everyone feels included in the Christmas cheer.
