Clipsham Yew Tree Avenue Receives Lottery Funding Boost
The Clipsham Yew Tree Avenue has received a significant boost with a £114,650 National Lottery Heritage Fund grant. This funding will be spread over five years and will be used to maintain the historic site.
The grant will cover essential tasks such as tree cutting, ride maintenance, and hedge trimming. However, there is still much work to be done. The committee plans to raise additional funds for projects like resurfacing the car park and replacing a stolen lectern.
Last week a car park sign was damaged. The committee is urging the culprit to come forward and take responsibility for the damage.
The Clipsham Yew Tree Avenue is a cherished local landmark, and the committee is grateful for the continued support of the community.
