Mallard Point Vineyard & Distillery Wins Great Food Club Drink Producer of the Year
Essendine, Rutland - Mallard Point Vineyard & Distillery is celebrating a major win, having been awarded the Great Food Club Drink Producer of the Year 2024/5.
The award recognises the outstanding work of Andy and Fi Beamish, who have created a unique and innovative vineyard and distillery in Essendine, Rutland. The couple has pioneered the growth of grape varieties like Cabernet Jura, producing a range of creative wines and spirits that have garnered critical acclaim.
Some of their most notable products include the award-winning Pinot Noir Gin and the Pink Pet-Nat, which was praised by renowned wine critic Jancis Robinson.
Mallard Point's vision extends beyond their current offerings, with a new gin school and a chardonnay vodka in the pipeline. They have also introduced unique and stylish reusable bottles, adding to their commitment to sustainability.
