Oakham School’s Domestic Operations department is officially seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Housekeeper over the upcoming summer holidays.
The role is designed for someone who takes pride in maintaining immaculate environments and wants to contribute to the historic school's high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Working closely under the guidance of the Area Team Leader (ATL) and Deputy Team Leader (DTL), the successful candidate will ensure designated areas of the school are kept in pristine condition during the busy summer period.
The position requires a diligent approach to daily domestic operations, ensuring that the school's strict standards are consistently met. Key duties include:
Implementing and maintaining high standards of housekeeping across designated school areas.
Strictly complying with all Health & Safety (H&S) regulations and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidelines.
Engaging with all mandatory training and operational advice provided by the ATL/DTL.
Assisting with efficient stores and stock control management.
Hours: Zero-hours contract (offering flexibility over the summer holiday period).
Salary: National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage, dependent on the applicant's age.
