"On the Verge of Insanity": Market Overton Hosts 7th Annual Remembrance Day War Talk
The Market Overton Village Hall and Colin Lukacs Winn are proud to announce the return of the 7th Annual Remembrance Day War Talk, promising a deep dive into the extraordinary and often unbelievable events of the World Wars.
An Evening of Courage and Sacrifice
This year's talk, titled "On the Verge of Insanity," will explore some of the people and actions from both World Wars that were "quite frankly... beyond the normal." Attendees can expect to hear stories of men and women who performed unbelievable acts of courage, with some events propelling individuals to go "over and above the call of duty." The evening is set to be a powerful and moving look at the human spirit during conflict.

Date: Wednesday 12th November
Venue: Market Overton Village Hall
Time: Doors open at 7:00 pm, with the talk starting at 7:30 pm.

Supporting a Worthy Cause
In the spirit of Remembrance, a portion of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to The Royal British Legion, an organisation that provides lifelong support to the Armed Forces community.
