The Rutland Flower Show at the Rutland County Showground concludes its final day today, Sunday, August 17, 2025, capping off a spectacular three-day event. Showgoers enjoyed a vibrant celebration of horticulture, featuring a wide array of attractions for all ages.
The show, which began on Friday, August 15, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VJ Day, was filled with floral and produce competitions, celebrity gardener talks, and a stunning collection of show gardens. Among the special guests were BBC Gardener's World host Adam Frost, who delivered talks and demonstrations, and other famous faces from the gardening world.
Throughout the final day, visitors have the opportunity to explore skilled artisan crafts, live music, and a large children's play garden. The event also featured flypasts by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, providing a memorable sight for attendees.
The show successfully brought together national and local flower clubs, gardening organizations, and the public, showcasing the best of Rutland's horticulture. While the show has now ended, the organisers are already looking ahead to future events.
