Plenty to See and Do at the Rutland Flower Show 2025
Get ready for a feast for the senses at the inaugural Rutland Flower Show, where the Rutland Showground will be bursting with a diverse range of exhibitors, from celebrated nurseries to artisan crafters and community champions.
Floral and Garden Delights
Gardeners of all levels will be in heaven with a spectacular lineup of nurseries. Middleton Nurseries, celebrating their 50th anniversary, will showcase their expertise as Salvia specialists, hot off a Second Place win at RHS Chelsea for Best Plant in Show. Proctors Nursery Ltd, fresh from an RHS Gold at Wentworth Woodhouse, will be bringing their award-winning herbaceous perennials, while Colin Gregory Roses Ltd will be on hand with their beautiful, expertly grown roses. For those seeking rare finds, Plant Lovers Garden is a must-visit, specializing in unusual plants for collectors. Local gems like Rutland Garden Centre, Hillyards garden and plants, and Budview Nursery will also be there, offering a wide selection of quality plants and expert advice.
A highlight of the show will be a special edition of BBC Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time, recorded live at the show on Friday, August 15th, featuring panelist Matthew Wilson.
Artisans and Handcrafted Goods
Beyond the plants, the show is a treasure trove of handcrafted beauty. Patchouli Fair will bring their ethical, bohemian-style dresses and accessories, handmade by artisans using traditional techniques. For beautiful, functional pieces, Tibor Eperjessy Artisan Leather will be showcasing his timeless, hand-stitched leather goods.
