Bob Lucas and Joyce Lucas BEM

Oakham residents and visitors have one final opportunity to snag a new puzzle and support Oakham in Bloom. The annual Jigsaw Sale, held in aid of the Oakham In Bloom Daffodil Trail, concludes tomorrow, Sunday, offering a chance to contribute to the town's vibrant floral displays while enjoying a relaxing pastime.

The sale, which has been running since Friday, has seen a steady stream of puzzle enthusiasts and community supporters flock to 15 Lonsdale Way.  Behind the initiative are the dedicated Joyce Lucas BEM and her husband Bob, who have generously opened their home to host the event.

For those yet to visit, tomorrow, Sunday, marks the last chance to browse the selection of jigsaws available. From intricate landscapes to charming still lifes, there's likely something to pique the interest of puzzle lovers of all skill levels.  The puzzles are available for purchase by donation, allowing individuals to contribute what they can to this worthy cause.

Joyce Lucas expressed her gratitude to everyone who has visited over the past two days, highlighting the community's enthusiasm for both puzzles and supporting Oakham in Bloom.  She shared the exciting news that the sale is on track to raise over £200 for the Daffodil Trail.

Joyce Lucas is a founder member of Oakham in Bloom at the age of 90 she is still a keen gardener with a little help from Bob. She name all the varieties of Daffodils she has planted in her garden  over the years.
