Caldecott Gears Up for the Annual Pancake Race!
Mark your calendars! The delightful tradition of the Caldecott Pancake Race returns on Tuesday, 4 March 2025. This community event promises an hour of fun, friendly competition, and of course, plenty of delicious pancakes.
From 10:00 to 11:00 AM, the village will be buzzing with excitement as participants race from the historic church to the village hall. Expect to see a flurry of runners, skillets in hand, attempting to master the art of pancake tossing while sprinting towards the finish line.
The festivities don't end with the race! Once everyone has crossed the line, the village hall will play host to the awards ceremony and a thrilling pancake tossing competition. This is your chance to witness (or even participate in) some impressive pancake-flipping skills.
And what's a village gathering without refreshments? Warm up after the race with delicious treats and drinks, perfect for enjoying the community spirit.
