Rutland Councillor Stephen Lambert Crushes Yorkshire Marathon for Unreal UK

Uppingham Ward Councillor Stephen Lambert crossed the finish line at the Yorkshire Marathon this weekend, raising a significant amount for Unreal UK in memory of Jeff Jones. Lambert, a member of the Liberal Democrat and Green Group, completed the gruelling 26.2-mile course in an impressive 4 hours and 32 minutes.

This incredible feat wasn't just a personal challenge for Lambert, it was a way to honour the memory of Jeff Jones. Lambert's dedication is evident in his fundraising efforts, which have already reached a staggering £1,170 towards a £1,500 target for Unreal UK.

Unreal UK is a fantastic charity that works tirelessly to support individuals and families experiencing complex grief. Losing a loved one is never easy, and Unreal UK provides much-needed resources and support during this difficult time.

With the race behind him, Lambert is still short of his target. If you'd like to contribute to this worthy cause and support Councillor Lambert's efforts, you can visit his JustGiving page:

Congratulations to Councillor Lambert on his fantastic achievement! Let's help him reach his fundraising goal and support Unreal UK in their mission
