Canon Rachel Watts to Leave St Peter and St Paul, Uppingham to be New Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Manchester, 


After a dedicated 11-year tenure at St Peter and St Paul, Uppingham, Canon Rachel Watts is set to embark on a new chapter in her ministry. She will be taking on the role of New Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Manchester.

Canon Watts, who was ordained in 1994, has a rich history of service in the Church of England. Her roles have included positions in Lancashire, Norwich, and Peterborough, where she has gained extensive experience in various aspects of ministry.

As Director of Vocations, Canon Watts will be responsible for inspiring and guiding individuals who are considering a vocation to ordained ministry or other forms of Christian service. She is passionate about helping people discern God's calling for their lives and supporting them as they embark on their journey.

The Diocese of Manchester is excited to welcome Canon Watts and believes that her experience and enthusiasm will be invaluable in promoting vocations and building a vibrant future for the Church.
