Sunny Saturday Brings Bustle to Oakham

Oakham was a hive of activity this past Saturday, as residents and visitors alike flocked to enjoy the sunny weather and explore all the town has to offer. The streets were busy with shoppers and sightseers, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout the day.

The highlight for many was the market, which saw a steady stream of customers. Shoppers were particularly pleased to note the expanded fruit and vegetable stall, now offering an even wider selection of fresh, seasonal produce. This increase in size was a welcome sight, catering to the growing demand for local goods.

Just around the corner, Gaol Street was equally popular, hosting its monthly Arts & Craft Market. This  event drew a considerable number of people, with visitors admiring and purchasing unique handmade items from talented local artisans. 

All in all, it was a fantastic Saturday for Oakham, showcasing the town’s enduring charm and its ability to draw in visitors eager to experience its lively markets and friendly ambiance.
