Rutland Honours Those Who Served: Festival of Remembrance
Rutland will commemorate its fallen heroes and celebrate the service of its current military personnel at the annual Festival of Remembrance on Friday, November 8, 2024.
The event, hosted by the Lord Lieutenant, will take place at The Pavilion, Rutland Hall Hotel, near Oakham. Beginning at 6:30 PM with drinks and canapés, the evening will culminate in a concert at 7:30 PM.
The concert will feature a diverse range of musical performances from pupils at Rutland's secondary schools, as well as performances from the Cottesmore Military Wives Choir, the LNR ACF Corps of Drums, and the Uppingham School Pipe Band.

The event is organised in partnership with the Royal British Legion and is a poignant tribute to those who have served in Her Majesty's Forces.
