Call for Candidates to Join the Seaton Parish Council

Call for Candidates to Join the Seaton Parish Council

Seaton Parish Council is currently seeking enthusiastic residents to step forward and serve as parish councillors. The Council serves as the primary tier of local government, playing a vital role in representing the interests of the community and ensuring that local needs are addressed.

Becoming a councillor is an excellent opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the village. The Council is responsible for a variety of local matters, from maintaining village infrastructure and overseeing local amenities to representing resident views to Rutland County Council. By joining the team, new councillors can play an active role in shaping the future of Seaton and ensuring it remains a well-supported and vibrant place to live.

The Council encourages anyone with an interest in local affairs and a commitment to the village to come forward. No previous experience in local government is required just a willingness to represent the community and work collaboratively with fellow residents to improve the village.

For those interested in learning more about the role, the application process, or the responsibilities involved, please reach out to the Clerk to the Council, John Hill. You can contact him via phone at 07816 503147 or by email at clerk@seatonrutland-pc.gov.uk.

This is an important opportunity to get involved and ensure that Seaton continues to thrive. If you are passionate about your local community, the Parish Council welcomes your inquiry.
