Uppingham Brownies Celebrate 100 Years of Fun and Friendship!

Calling all past Uppingham Brownies and leaders! The 1st Uppingham Brownies are throwing a tea party to celebrate their Centenary and they'd love for you to join the festivities!

Mark your calendars! The party takes place on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, from 2pm to 5pm at the Scout Hut on Gainsborough Road in Uppingham.

This is a chance to reminisce about your Brownie days and reconnect with old friends. The event will feature a special display of the group's archive, showcasing old uniforms, photographs, and other treasured keepsakes.

Whether you were a Brownie yourself or a dedicated leader, you're warmly invited to share your stories and experiences.

Do you have any Brownie memorabilia tucked away in a drawer? This is your chance to bring it out! The organisers would love to see your badges, certificates, uniforms, camp memorabilia, or even old photographs. It's time to raid the attic and unearth those hidden treasures!

This milestone is a testament to the tireless dedication of volunteers who have kept the Brownie spirit alive for 100 years. The group has provided countless girls with a space for fun, friendship, and learning.

Space is limited, so please RSVP to secure your spot at the party.
