Call for Young Dancers Braunston May Fayre Traditional Maypole Dancing

The village of Braunston in Rutland is seeking participants for traditional maypole dancing as part of its upcoming May Fayre, scheduled for Monday, May 4th.

Organisers are inviting children between the ages of 4 and 13 to join the festivities. The opportunity is open to all interested children, regardless of whether they are village residents. No prior experience is necessary, and the program is offered at no cost.

To prepare for the performance, practice sessions are scheduled to be held at the Braunston village hall. These sessions take place on Sunday mornings throughout March and April, running from 9:30 am to 10:15 am. Please note that there will be no practice sessions held on Mother’s Day or during holiday periods.
