An Afternoon for a Great Cause: Autumn Tea Supports Breast Cancer Now and Wing Village Hall
Mark your calendars for a delightful Autumn Afternoon Tea that promises a perfect blend of seasonal treats and community spirit—all while raising vital funds for two important causes. This joint fundraising event is a beautiful partnership between Breast Cancer Now and Wing Village Hall, scheduled to take place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
On Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, Wing Village Hall will transform into a cozy autumnal haven for an afternoon of traditional afternoon tea. The event directly supports Breast Cancer Now, contributing to the charity's mission of life-saving research and providing much-needed support for those affected by breast cancer. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting the upkeep and activities of Wing Village Hall, a true hub for the local community.
For just £12.50 per person (and £5 for children under 12 years), guests will be treated to a classic afternoon tea spread. The menu includes:
A selection of sandwiches
Cakes and delicious scones
Unlimited tea and coffee
For those looking for something a little extra, wine, Prosecco, and soft drinks will also be available to purchase.
Don't Miss the Pink Raffle!
A highlight of the event will be a Pink Raffle, offering attendees a chance to win some fantastic prizes while further boosting the funds raised. And if you'd like to take a sweet treat home, there will also be a Cake Stall selling cakes for takeaway purchase.
Essential Booking Information
Please note that advance booking is absolutely essential for this event, as all teas must be pre-booked to reserve a timeslot and table.
To secure your spot at this wonderful afternoon of fundraising and fellowship, please email h.eskdale@hotmail.co.uk by the Wednesday, October 23rd deadline.
The event will be held at: Wing Village Hall Morcott Road, Wing, LE15 8SA
