Oakham's Wisteria Hotel is preparing to host a sophisticated black-tie fundraising event designed to bring hope and vital support to Rutland residents managing long-term health conditions. Organised by Rutland Hope, "An Evening of Hope" is scheduled for Saturday, July 25th, 2026.

The gala evening aims to raise crucial funds for Rutland Citizen's Advice Rutland service. These advisers offer invaluable support to people of all ages navigating the challenges associated with long-term health issues.

Guests attending the event at the Wisteria Hotel can expect an inspiring night filled with elegance, community spirit, and purpose. The evening will feature a three-course dinner, live music and entertainment, guest speakers, and a raffle, all contributing to the fundraising goal.

The event has already garnered early support, receiving its first donation from the local Lands’ End outlet store. Additional backing has come from Rutland Florals and the venue itself, the Wisteria Hotel.

Rutland Hope encourages further community involvement. Individuals or businesses interested in sponsoring the event, making a donation, or offering support in any capacity are invited to get in touch via email at rutlandhope@gmail.com.

This gala presents a wonderful opportunity for the Rutland community to come together for a memorable evening while supporting a service that provides essential non-medical advice and hope to those facing long-term health conditions.
