The Oakham Baptist Church Family Picnic, held Sunday in Cutts Close, Oakham Rutland, was a resounding success. Despite the initial worry of potential rain, the weather held, making for a perfect day of outdoor enjoyment.
A good number of people attended the event, drawn by the promise of fun, food, and music. The highlight of the day was the performance by EAGA 7, a renowned gospel choir from Leicester. Known for their powerful voices and captivating stage presence, EAGA 7 has previously appeared on Britain's Got Talent and won the 2023 BBC Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year. Their performance added a special touch to the picnic, uplifting spirits and creating a memorable atmosphere.
