Uppingham Gears Up for The 118th Christmas Fatstock Show

The historic town of Uppingham is preparing to host a time-honoured rural tradition with the return of The One-Hundred-and-Eighteenth Uppingham Christmas Fatstock Show on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025.

The annual event, a fixture in the local agricultural calendar, will take place in The Market Place, Uppingham, drawing farmers, livestock exhibitors, and spectators from across the region to celebrate the best of local farming.

The day's proceedings are set to kick off promptly at 10:00 a.m. with the commencement of Judging. Exhibitors will compete for the prestigious title and a share of the generous £800 Prize Money on offer.

Following the judging, attention will turn to the formal presentations. The challenge cups and special prizes are scheduled to be presented at approximately 11:30 a.m. The honours will be done by Adam Day, Penrith, of The Farmer Network.

The main event for buyers and farmers, the Sale of pigs & sheep, will then commence at noon, providing an opportunity to purchase the prize-winning livestock.
