Friends of Victoria Hall Tea Party a Roaring Success!

Friends of Victoria Hall Tea Party a Roaring Success!

The inaugural fundraising event hosted by the Friends of Victoria Hall was a resounding success, raising a fantastic £350 for Victoria Hall in Oakham, Rutland. The weekend tea party, held on Saturday, attracted a large number of community members eager to support this local landmark.

The event featured a delightful afternoon tea spread with a variety of finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and a selection of cakes and pastries.

"We were overwhelmed by the generosity and support of the community," said Lucy, Chair of the Friends of Victoria Hall. "The funds raised will go directly towards preserving and maintaining this historic building for future generations to enjoy."

The Friends of Victoria Halls is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to supporting the Victoria Hall and ensuring its continued success. They will organise various fundraising events and activities throughout the year to raise funds for essential repairs, improvements, and community programs.

The tea party was just the beginning of their fundraising efforts. The Friends of Victoria Halls have exciting plans for future events.
