The Bongo Rat Pack Brings Sunshine to Cutts Close, Next Sunday the Hathern Band

The Bongo Rat Pack Brings Sunshine to Cutts Close

Cutts Close park in Oakham was alive with music, laughter, and community spirit this Sunday as the popular Bongo Rat Pack took to the bandstand for a memorable afternoon performance.
Drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd of locals and visitors alike, the talented trio delivered an engaging set that had the audience thoroughly entertained. The band features Eddie Markey on vocals and electric ukulele, Simon Hughes on bass, and 'Bongo Steve' Cannie handling percussion. Together, their signature sound provided the ultimate soundtrack to a relaxing summer weekend in Rutland.
Beyond the music, the afternoon proved to be a resounding success for a good cause. Generous concertgoers opened their hearts and wallets, raising a fantastic £187.06 in donations for the Mayor's Charity in support of the Rutland Lions.
The vibrant summer series at Cutts Close shows no signs of slowing down. Music lovers won't have to wait long for the next installment, as the Hathern Band is lined up to perform at the bandstand next week.
