A Sunny Sunday Success, Top Banana Band enjoyed by many in Cutts Close Oakham Rutland
Residents and visitors alike flocked to the park to soak up the glorious sunshine and enjoy some spectacular live entertainment.
The star of the afternoon was the Top Banana Band, whose lively performance provided the perfect soundtrack to a relaxing Sunday in the park. Families, friends, and music lovers filled the park, creating a vibrant community atmosphere that echoed across the grounds.
Beyond the music, the event served a fantastic cause. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of those in attendance, a total of £217.72 was raised for the Mayor’s Charity, The Lions Club of Rutland.
This vital funding will go directly toward supporting the Lions Club’s ongoing efforts to serve the local community, providing aid, resources, and support to those who need it most within the Rutland area.
Organisers have expressed their sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the collection buckets. Whether you stopped by for a full set or just caught a few songs, your donations have made a tangible difference.
