Get ready to count down the days to the most magical festive shopping event of the year! 

The Burghley Christmas Fair is returning from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 November 2025, promising its biggest fair yet with new attractions, over 160 exhibitors, and extended evening hours for a truly sparkling festive experience.

The fair is the perfect place to find unique gifts and seasonal treats, hosting over 160 stallholders in a hand-picked selection of artisan makers and award-winning independent businesses. Visitors can wander through courtyards, heated marquees, and lively shopping avenues.

    • 9.30am - 4pm (Thursday & Sunday)

    • 9.30am - 7.30pm (Friday & Saturday) - For Late Night Shopping!

New for 2025: The Pavilion

Evening Experiences & Attractions

The magic continues after dusk on Friday and Saturday with late-night shopping, festive music, and two spectacular new events for 2025!

1. Late Night Shopping (Fri 28 & Sat 29 Nov)

As dusk falls, Burghley sparkles even brighter. The fair stays open until 7.30pm on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th November, offering a wonderful evening buzz with live festive music, hearty food, and seasonal drinks.


2. NEW FOR 2025: Cocktails, Canapés & Carols

Add an extra touch of sparkle with this magical evening event in Burghley's magnificent Great Hall.

  • Dates & Time: Friday 28 & Saturday 29 November, 5.30pm - 7.30pm

  • Experience: The fire will be lit, and a singer will serenade you beside the Christmas tree while you enjoy bottomless cocktails (mocktails too!) and seasonal canapés.

3. NEW FOR 2025: Festive Drone Show

Look to the skies above Queen Elizabeth's Avenue for a breathtaking aerial display as illuminated drones dance to music, creating festive shapes.



Festive Food & Drink

Amidst all the shopping, be sure to indulge in the abundance of festive food on offer! You can enjoy:

  • Warm, melty raclette and comforting street food

  • Speciality coffee and indulgent hot chocolate

  • Mulled wine

  • Plenty of sweet treats


Burghley Christmas Shop: Open Today!

For those who simply can't wait for the fair, the Burghley Christmas Shop is open TODAY! Discover festive decorations, gifts, and treats to bring the magic of Burghley home this season.

  • Dates: Open from Saturday 15 November to Sunday 21 December.

  • Times: 10am - 4pm

  • Open Days: Wednesday to Sunday

Booking Tickets and Essential Information

  • Tickets Must Be Booked in Advance: Tickets will not be available to purchase on the gate.

  • Arrival Timeslots: To minimize queues and crowds, you are asked to book an arrival timeslot for the fair, though you are welcome to stay as long as you wish once you've arrived.

  • Ticket Prices: Adult £12, Child (3-15 years) £5.

  • Flexi Tickets: Flexi Tickets (valid for any one day/time) are sold out.

  • Carer Tickets: Carers can visit at no charge when accompanying a visitor they care for. You must add a free Carer ticket when booking and provide proof of carer status at the ticket desk.

  • Parking: Standard parking is FREE, but please note most parking is on grass, and the lot may be up to 500m from the entrance. Priority Parking closer to the entrances is available to pre-book for £8 per car (Flexi Priority Parking is sold out).


Additional Event Details

  • Drone Show Time: The Festive Drone Show times are: 4pm (Thursday & Sunday) and 6:20pm (Friday & Saturday), subject to weather.

  • Accessibility: There is step-free access to all shopping areas, though some cobbled and uneven surfaces exist in the courtyards. Accessible Car Parking is available close to the entrance.

  • Christmas Shop Access: During the Christmas Fair dates (Nov 27–30), access to the Burghley Christmas Shop is for ticketholders only.

The Fair features a diverse range of exhibitors across the Festive Walkway, Marquees, and Pagoda, offering everything from artisan food and drink to luxury homewares and clothing. You can find detailed lists of some of the exhibitors on the Burghley House website, featuring businesses like:

  • Food & Drink: Amo La Pizza, Jacc's Hot Chocolate, Scandimania Coffee House, Beckford's Rum, and Sunfire Spirits.
