Festive Cheer Returns to Stamford: The Christmas Market is Bigger Than Ever
Mark your calendars! The eagerly anticipated Stamford Christmas Market, organised by Stamford Town Council, is set to transform the historic town centre into a winter wonderland on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Running from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this year's event promises to be the largest and most vibrant yet, offering a perfect start to your festive season.
Responding to its growing popularity, the market has been significantly extended, now spilling over into St Mary's Street. This expansion brings the total number of stalls to over 150, allowing independent traders to showcase an incredible and diverse array of products. Shoppers can wander through the charming streets—including Broad Street, High Street, Ironmonger Street, and St Mary's Street—to discover unique, handcrafted gifts, festive foods, and artisanal crafts, making it the ideal spot for finding those special Christmas presents.
The heart of the market action will be St George's Square, which is being transformed into a dedicated entertainment hub. Here, visitors can enjoy a packed programme featuring:
Live Performances
Craft Activities
Airbrush Tattoos
A fun Snow Globe Photo Booth for capturing festive memories
For those needing a break from the shopping and merriment, comfortable seating will be provided in the square. The festive atmosphere won't be confined to one spot, however, as additional roaming entertainment will circulate throughout the market, ensuring Christmas cheer follows you wherever you go.
Stamford Town Council has made attending this wonderful event as simple as possible:
Free Entry for all visitors.
Free Parking is being offered for the day, removing one of the usual hassles of a busy market day.
Whether you're hunting for a one-of-a-kind gift, looking to soak up the sounds and smells of Christmas, or just want a fun day out, the Stamford Christmas Market on Sunday, November 30th, is an unmissable event for the whole family
