Fun in the Sun: Ketton Summer Fayre Returns Today!

Ketton, Rutland – Get ready for a fantastic afternoon of community spirit and family fun! The much-anticipated Ketton Summer Fayre is happening today, Saturday, June 21st, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ketton Primary School (PE9 3TE). Best of all, entry is absolutely free, inviting everyone from the local community to join in the festivities.

Organised by the dedicated Ketton School PTA, this year's fayre promises a vibrant atmosphere with something for every age. All profits raised from the event will go directly towards supporting the school, helping to enhance the learning environment for its pupils.

Highlights of the Ketton Summer Fayre include:

Delicious Food & Drink: Fire up your taste buds with a classic BBQ offering quality meat hot dogs and burgers, with a veggie option available too. For those with a sweet tooth, the Ketton WI will be showcasing their baking talents at a special cake stand, as part of their 70th-year celebrations – expect some truly yummy treats! A bar will serve refreshing drinks for adults, while soft drinks will be on hand for the kids. Hot drinks will also be available, though fingers crossed the sun will be shining too brightly for them!

Games Galore: Both adults and children can look forward to a variety of games designed to entertain and challenge.

Live Performance: Be sure to catch the talented school choir as they perform a selection of their summer songs at 2:45 PM at the ticket stall.

Exciting Raffle: Don't forget your tickets for the Summer Fayre Raffle draw at 3:15 PM, also at the ticket stall. There are many fantastic prizes generously donated by local companies up for grabs!

Cool Treats: An ice cream van will be on site to provide the perfect cool-down treat on what promises to be a warm summer's day.

The Ketton School PTA extends a warm invitation to everyone in the community to come along, enjoy the day, and support a wonderful local cause. It’s the perfect way to kick off the summer weekend!
