With approximately 90 members, the club fosters a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, welcoming everyone from seasoned racers to those just starting their cycling journey.
Velo Club Rutland caters to a wide range of fitness levels and experience. Whether you're a mountain biker, road cyclist, touring enthusiast, or even an eBiker, you'll find a place here. The club offers a variety of rides, including:
Saturday Cafe Ride: A popular, shorter ride perfect for those new to group riding or looking for a more relaxed pace.
Longer Rides: As you gain experience, you can join more challenging rides exploring the scenic Rutland countryside and beyond.

Joining Velo Club Rutland
Becoming a member is easy and is handled through British Cycling. Choose the membership option that suits you:
Adult (18+): £15.00 + £1.00 application fee
Junior (under 18): £5.00 + £1.00 application fee
Family: £30.00 + £1.00 application fee
Note: No British Cycling membership is required for club membership, but it is required for racing under a license.
Before purchasing a subscription, it's recommended to contact the club using the details on their contact page. The £1.00 application fee is non-refundable.
