Burghley Park, Stamford Santa Fun Run, Postponed Due to Storm

Stamford Santa Fun Run Postponed Due to Storm

The highly anticipated Stamford Santa Fun Run has been postponed due to the severe weather conditions.

The event, originally scheduled for Sunday, December 8th, will now take place on Sunday, December 15th, 2024.

Despite the postponement, the festive spirit remains strong. The organisers, Stamford Striders, with support from Burghley Rotary, are excited to bring this fun-filled event to the community.

Over 1700 Santa's will take to the beautiful Burghley Park, choosing from three different routes to suit all fitness levels.

Enjoy delicious mince pies and mulled wine, and browse stalls from local organisations.

Get ready to be entertained by local football freestyler Jack Dean Junior and have a chance to meet Colin Furze, who will be the official starter.

The event raises funds for three fantastic charities: Sue Ryder's Thorpe Hall Hospice, Mindspace Stamford, and the Rotary Club of Stamford Burghley.

Mark your calendars for the new date and get ready to spread some holiday cheer!

For more information, please visit the Stamford Striders website or contact the organisers directly.
