The children's play area in Cutts Close, Oakham, Rutland, has recently undergone a much-needed makeover. Oakham Town Council has carried out essential repairs to the play equipment, addressing safety concerns highlighted in a Wicksteed Leisure safety inspection report several months ago. In addition, the play area surface has been resurfaced with wet pour, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for young children.

The repairs and resurfacing project cost a total of £20,000, but the investment is expected to provide many years of enjoyment for local families. The play area is now safer and more attractive than ever before, and it is sure to be a popular destination for children of all ages.
