Oakham Town Councillor Adam Lowe Resigns

In a surprising move, Cllr Adam Lowe has resigned from Oakham Town Council, effective immediately. The announcement came following the planning and parks meeting held on October 23, 2024.

Cllr Lowe, who has served on the council since 2010, presented a prepared letter of resignation to the newly appointed Chairman and Mayor, Cllr Paul Ainsley. While no official reason was given for his departure. The content of his resignation letter will remain confidential.
