One year ago today,  Oakham,  in the heart of Rutland, witnessed a moment that would forever etch itself into its history. The arrival of a statue dedicated to the late Queen Elizabeth II marked not just the placement of a piece of art, but the dawn of a new chapter for the community. Since then, Oakham has blossomed into an unexpected pilgrimage site, drawing visitors from every corner of the United Kingdom and beyond, all eager to pay their respects and capture a moment with the regal tribute.

The statue,  stands proudly  in Oakham Its unveiling shortly after its arrival sparked a wave of emotion and pride amongst the local residents. However, few could have predicted the enduring impact it would have on the town's landscape and economy
