Rutland and Stamford Sound Seeks Part-Time Business Development Officer

Local community radio station, Rutland and Stamford Sound, is recruiting a Part-Time Business Development Officer to help strengthen its financial sustainability.

Launched in 2021, the station has quickly gained a loyal following of listeners who appreciate its unique blend of music, local news, and community information. As part of its ongoing growth, Rutland and Stamford Sound is now seeking a dedicated individual to develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organisations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Business Development: Strengthening existing relationships with local businesses and identifying new opportunities for revenue generation.

Community Engagement: Collaborating with local community organisations on joint projects and funding bids.

Risk Management: Identifying and addressing potential risks to the station's financial stability.

The role is ideal for individuals who are organised, self-motivated, and passionate about supporting their local community. While the position can be primarily remote, the candidate must be able to travel within the Rutland and Stamford area for meetings.
